I spent three-plus hours with these wretched gift cards tonight. We purchased them for T to connect with buddies and play Star Wars games online with them. That's quite a gimmick Microsoft has going there...buy the console...buy the game...pay monthly to connect. Anyway...apparently the gift cards that say XBOX can't be used to pay for connection fees. You have to get the gift cards that say XBOX LIVE to use them for connection fees. The plain XBOX cards have to be used to download digital content. WHAAAAAAAAAAT? Mason at XBOX customer service was very patient with this XBOX newbie...we finally got it all figured out...now I'm tired...
